Business & Industry Certification Program (BISCP)

BISCP is specifically designed for new hires (within the past 1-18 months) at local tech centers. Eligible participants may be employed in the following types of positions:

• BIS Director
• Adult Education Director
• Industrial Coordinator
• Adult Coordinator
• Safety Coordinator
• Business and Entrepreneurial Program Coordinator (BDP, SET, SBM, MDG)
• OBAN Coordinator (BID Assistance)
• Agricultural Business Management Coordinator
• BIS Administrative and Support Staff
• Superintendent

• SESSION III, March 9-10, 2015, Tri County Technology Center, Bartlesville

Workshop Registration Fee and Deadline:

• Registration fee is $600.
• Registration deadline is 5 p.m. Sept. 8, 2014.
• No on-site registration will be available.
• No payments will be accepted on-site.
• Registration fee includes food items per agenda as well as all materials.

The workshop will introduce the BIS staff and local administration. You will learn the CareerTech key milestones, discuss reporting issues and learn about the OkACTE professional organization Postsecondary Adult and Career Education.
Session 2 in November will start out at Gordon Cooper Technology Center before participants will tour the Lexington Skills Center. In Session 3 you will be at Tri County Technology Center to learn about Franklin Covey's Building Business Acumen and Helping Clients Succeed.

You will leave with a wealth of knowledge about the CareerTech System as well as contacts and friendships to last a lifetime.
